Are we a reputable company?
Our Parent committee want to know that we are dealing with a reputable company

Catalina Trading Pty Limited(owner of Raisemoney.com.au) has been operating as a business since 1957, and, under the same ownership and directorship since 1978. We are proud to say that we have never defaulted on a payment or bounced a cheque in that entire 28 years.

Are glowsticks safe?
Glow sticks ARE safe

Glow products are sealed in a plastic tube. Activation occurs when a small glass tube inside the plastic tube is broken by flexing the glowstick. When the contents mix, the glow reaction will commence. We DO NOT recommend children under the age of 5 using glow sticks except under adult supervision.

We also warn children against excessively bending and stressing the tube as breakage will eventually occur causing the glow liquid to leak and, possibly, small pieces of glass.

Whilst non-toxic, the contents can stain. Please read the packaging, or call us if you have any concerns.

How do I activate a glowstick?
Activating a glow stick is easy

Gently bending a glow stick will cause the inner glass tube to break.Shaking the glow stick after activation will mix the fluid and the glowing will start.

How long does a glowstick last?
In short, a long time

Our products will generally last from 8-12 hours. The glow item can also be stored in the freezer which will allow you to use it again another night, but, remember, it will not glow as brightly on the second night.

Why don't you refund unsold glow items?
We can't guarantee the product that may be returned

Our competitors offer consignment stock (last checked 8th March,2006) at more than TWICE the price that we offer our product. Our emphasis is on maximising your profit whilst remaining profitable ourselves. We do this by offering the best price.

If we sent you product that was returned to us, and, we sent it to you and it didn't work, who would be responsible?

Our product is good to store for up to 2 years. If you have some left over, keeping it stored in a cool dry place will keep it in perfect condition until next time.

We are happy to supply any worthwhile cause to help them achieve their fundraising objectives.
We have supplied church groups, area health services and outback communities that are fundraising for a community cause as well as schools and pre-schools.

We can supply samples of the Apple Spiral machines at $33/Green, $35/Red, $40/Nickel including freight anywhere in Australia.
This price includes GST and delivery to your door.

Our fundraiser prices are based on a minimum order of 12 pieces and multiples of 12 pieces. That's how many fit in a box, and it's the most econimical way to send 12 pieces. The prices quoted on this site are only available for fundraising/charity purposes.

What's the warranty on the Apple Spiral Machines?
A long time

Our warranty is second to none.... we have even repaired our competitor's machines free of charge if you are a school canteen, AND, without any obligation!
We guarantee our machines against faulty workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of your purchase.
Even after that date, please call us. Our warranty rate is less than 0.1%, so we are very anxious to keep you happy.
Please be aware, there are inferior imitations out there happy to use our reputation.

We need to order, but haven't sold 12
Take 12, we'll guarantee to take back any unsold ones. You are only liable for the cost of returning the unsold stock.

In our experience, whenever we have been told 'We only have orders for 9!', we have said to take the 12. When others see the machine, further sales are generally not a problem, and, to date we have never had a return of unsold stock.

What are the methods of payment?
Direct deposit and credit cards

We prefer direct deposit, or payment by Mastercard or Visa. We can even take a credit card payment over the phone

My browser makes the pages look funny
We try hard for compatibility

We have programmed this site using Internet Explorer as the main browser. We also try and maintain compatibility with FireFox. Please let us know of any problems using our feedback form.

A note about 'cookies' and 'javascript'

I have a warranty claim. What do I do?
We don't have many warranties... less than 1 in a 1000 machines actually!

If you have a warranty claim on one of our apple spiral machines, we ask that you package it up and return it to us via PRE-PAID Australia Post.
